and the different kind of floor ...the parcett in the elegant livingroom,
black/white tile in the hallway..
and the floral arrangement in the livingroom are just fab,
Not to mention the wodden walls with carved ornaments
Vintage renovations often require a delicate balance between preserving historical charm and incorporating modern functionality. PNW Demolition helped a lot in preparing the property for renovation, removing outdated fixtures, and carefully dismantling non-load-bearing walls.
Vintage French interior design is a timeless style that exudes elegance, charm, and a sense of history. This aesthetic draws inspiration from the French countryside, with its rustic farmhouses and grand chateaus, as well as the sophisticated Parisian apartments of the past. The key to achieving this look is to create a space that feels both luxurious and comfortable, with a mix of antique furniture, soft textiles, and delicate details.
One of the hallmarks of vintage French interior design is the use of warm, neutral colors. Soft shades of cream, beige, and gray create a soothing backdrop for the room, while accents of pale blue, sage green, or dusty rose add a touch of color without overwhelming the space. Natural materials, such as wood, stone, and linen, are also essential to this style, as they bring a sense of authenticity and texture to the room.
When it comes to furniture, vintage French interiors often feature a mix of antique pieces and reproductions. Louis XV and Louis XVI-style chairs, with their curved lines and ornate carvings, are a classic choice, as are rustic farmhouse tables and armoires. Soft, plush upholstery in natural fabrics like linen and cotton adds a sense of comfort and relaxation to the space. Finally, no vintage French interior is complete without a few carefully chosen accessories, such as gilt-framed mirrors, crystal chandeliers, and fresh flowers in simple vases.

Halloy!
ReplyDeleteCoolt med det strikta vardagsrumsbordet med stålstomme tillsammans med övrig inredning.
Kan inte låta bli att älska de slitna ruffiga väggarna.
Hoppas att du får en strålande dag.

Hallo Marie,
ReplyDeleteThe pictures of the home you posted here is one of my favorite Belgian homes. It is the house of our Belgian couturier Edouard Vermeulen of the brand Natan.
I can look over and over to the pictures of his home! Wish you a wonderful Wednesday my friend!
